WeruchÉ Uzoka is a Nigerian American author, speaker, former asylee and former political candidate, whose work spans identity, the arts, journalism & human rights.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria and now based in California, WeruchÉ Uzoka merges storytelling, activism, and art — to inspire & empower diverse communities

A former Connecticut State Representative candidate, WeruchÉ Uzoka continues to advocate for Gender & racial equity, culture, and human rights. She speaks at various community, including at the United Nations, and on international stages.
